Tuition & Fees
Let's make a deal. We promise to be totally honest about what things cost (for instance, by putting our tuition and fees in a nice, easy-to-find, totally transparent part of our website), you promise not to read those numbers without reading our financial aid and scholarship pages.
For the 2012-2013 academic year:
Boarding Students — $48,910
Includes tuition, room and board, and some materials/lab fees.
Day Students — $32,860
Includes tuition, all meals, and some materials/lab fees.
Additional fees for English as a Second Language (ESL) students:
- International Student Orientation: $2,150
- ESL Courses: $1,545 per course (maximum 4 courses)
Estimated additional expenses:
Financial aid is available for these additional fees.
- Textbooks, program fees, and specialty supplies – approximately $500 to $750 per year
- Required athletic equipment and clothing – up to $200
- Miscellaneous supplies and entertainment – up to $750
- Travel costs to and from campus – varies by distance
- Incoming students who attend the Academic Summer Program (ASP) are charged a $1,100 fee.
- Students are charged additional fees for International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
