Paying Tribute to a Legendary Coach

George School alumni spanning six decades gathered at the Middletown Country Club on May 11, 2012 to honor a man who spent thirty-eight years influencing students both in the classroom and on the field. Bob Geissinger, or Geis as he is affectionately known, was joined by about 150 guests who shared memories, friendly conversation, and quite a few laughs.

Varsity Boys Tennis Advances to the FSL Semi-Finals

The varsity boys’ tennis team traveled to Germantown on Thursday, May 10, 2012 to take on Germantown Friends School in their final regular season league game. Both teams were 3-3 in the league coming into the contest. The winner would be the automatic fourth seed for the Friends Schools League (FSL) team playoffs.

Boys’ Lacrosse Defeats Westtown in Overtime

The varsity boys’ lacrosse team defeated rival Westtown School, 11-10, in overtime on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Tucker Bentley ’12 scored the winning goal just ten seconds into the third overtime.

Annual Fund Campaign Continues

Don and Marilyn Hayden want to give back to the school where their four children have grown and developed. Contributing to the Annual Fund is one way they do that. With less than two months remaining in the 2011-2012 campaign, there is still $315,320 needed to reach this year’s $1.2 million goal.
