George School Children's Center will hold its Festival of Lights party, an annual multicultural celebration for attendees and their families, on Thursday, December 9, 2004, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The children and their families will make crafts related to Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, and the winter solstice. They will also light a menorah and a Christmas tree.
George School Children's Center provides a half- and full-day academic-year program for children six weeks to five years of age in a loving, friendly Quaker atmosphere that celebrates diversity and encourages even the youngest children to practice conflict resolution. The curriculum focuses on hands-on learning experiences, including daily outings on George School's beautiful 265-acre campus.
