Registration Open for American Red Cross Lifeguard Training at George School

This fall, George School’s Community Swim Program will offer a lifeguard training certification class through the American Red Cross. Enrollment is open to the public. The class will take place in Worth Sports Center on the George School campus. Successful completion will result in lifeguard certification valid for three years, first aid certification valid for three years, and CPR certification valid for one year.

The total class fee (including books, registration, certification, and equipment) is $195. Email Pool Coordinator Elaine Clay or call her at 215-579-6690 for information, or to register.

The class will meet on these dates:

Saturday, November 1, 2008: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 2, 2008: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 8, 2008: 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 9, 2008: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Participants must be at least fifteen years old by November 9, 2008.
