Members of George School’s varsity golf team finished a perfect season by winning the Friends School League championship.

“What has helped to make this team so strong is the breadth and depth of the team,” said Coach Chip Poston. "Five of our six top players turned in the low scores in at least one contest this season."

Sophomore Kellie Edelblut, a day student from New Hope, turned in the low score in five of the ten Friends League contests. One of only two female players in the Friends League, Kellie played in the number one position for George School most of the spring.

This year's George School varsity golf team members include Kellie Edelblut ’11, Cameron Bentley ’10, Greg Cohen ’11, Aidan Schmidtberger ’10, Zach Knoll ’10, Corey Curran ’12, Kevin Simone ’11, Mark Gerelus ’09, and Nathan Small ’11.
