GS Senior Melissa Chavez received the Hispanic Heritage Youth bronze medal in the sports category for the Philadelphia region. The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards recognize young Latino leaders with educational grants for college and sets them forth as role models for their community both locally and nationally.
