Alumni and parents are invited to campus on Monday, January 18, 2010, to join students, faculty, and staff in George School’s twenty-first annual commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. After a morning class period, the celebration will begin in Walton Center Auditorium with an all-school assembly program. Following the assembly, various workshop sessions on campus will encourage participants to discuss and reflect in a variety of ways on Dr. King’s message of multiculturalism, diversity, and peace. The day will conclude with an all-school meeting for worship in the afternoon. More information about the event will appear on the George School website as the date approaches.
