Getting On A Well-Timed Roll

Issued: Wednesday, September 30, 2009Author: Karen SangilloPublication: Bucks County Courier Times

The Bucks County Courier Times highlights the Girls Varsity Field Hockey game against Princeton Day School and their upcoming Friends School League schedule. "After a rocky 0-4 start, the Cougars have won two of their last three games, including Tuesday's 2-1, non-league triumph over visiting Princeton (N.J.) Day School," wrote Karen Sangillo.

"The girls have worked so hard, and they're seeing the results of their hard work on the field," said George School coach Janine Nyce.  "Once we had the lead (against PDS), we still had to finish strong and protect that lead and we were able to do that. Our passes were excellent; we played like a team and we stepped up when we had to."
