Student Named Distinguished Scholar

George School senior Kevin Miller of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, has been named an Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar for the 2009-10 collegiate academic year. This honor recognizes New Jersey high school seniors for outstanding academic achievement, on the basis of their high school academic records and SAT scores. Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars who enroll at a New Jersey college or university receive a merit scholarship of up to $1,000 annually. The Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars program is administered by the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, an independent agency of the State of New Jersey. Kevin Miller, along with senior Joshua McGowan, was named a finalist in the 2009 National Merit Scholarship Program.
