Parents, guardians, and friends are invited to campus on Saturday, October 17, 2009 for Visiting Day. The day starts at 7:30 a.m. with registration and a buffet breakfast. At 8:00 a.m., parents may attend seven fifteen-minute classes in the morning to learn about the courses their children are taking.
One of the highlights of the day is the dedication of the new, green
Learning Commons and Mollie Dodd Anderson Library, scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Barbara Dodd Anderson and her granddaughter Mollie will be on campus to cut the ribbon. A buffet luncheon in the Main Dining Room is available until 2:00 p.m.

college guidance seminar designed for parents of seniors begins at 1:30 p.m. to address the nuts and bolts of the college application and financial aid process. Parents of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors may attend the service projects seminar to learn about school-sponsored
service projects and domestic and
international service trip opportunities.
Starting at 2:00 p.m. parents, guardians, and friends can join George School fans, known as Cougar Crazies, and cheer on their
favorite teams. Boys’ Varsity Football is playing against St. Andrew’s School, Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey and Girls’ Varsity Soccer are playing against teams from. Solebury School, and Boys Varsity Soccer is playing against the George School Alumni team.
