An article in The Morning Call highlighted the visit that actress Tanya Wright ’85 made to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Tanya plays the recurring role of Deputy Kenya Jones on HBO’s series True Blood. The article outlines the route Tanya took from George School to Vassar College to an acting career that has included roles on The Cosby Show, Beverly Hills 90210, ER, NYPD Blue, and 24.

Tanya went to Bethlehem this summer to finish work on her first novel, Butterfly Rising, a companion piece to a film of the same name. Tanya wrote, directed, and starred in the film. The book is scheduled for release in August 2010.
