The Intelligencer has featured the green roof of George School’s
Mollie Dodd Anderson Library in an article entitled “Green Can Mean Starting at the Top.” An installment in the newspaper’s “Going Green” series, the article shows how the vegetative roof of George School’s library is part of a nationwide trend in which green roofing systems are being more widely used. In the article, George School Project Manager Marlin Stroh explains that the library’s vegetative roof forms part of an environmentally friendly storm water management system and also contributes to the insulation of the building.
