The Intelligencer reported on a George School gallery talk by artist Wendy Wolf, an event that drew approximately sixty George School students to hear about Wendy’s
exhibit “Learning Repetition.” Displayed in the Class of 1956 Gallery at the
Mollie Dodd Anderson Library, the exhibit featured repetitive marks and the shapes of leaves found at George School and other locations.
“It’s a record of these leaves that are here for such a short period of time, and it’s a closer look at something that so many of us would otherwise overlook,” said Andrea Lindsay ’11 in the
Intelligencer article.
At the September 23 lecture, Wendy Wolf discussed her career and creative process, and answered questions from students and faculty. Such lectures by guest artists are open to all George School students and are also part of the
International Baccalaureate (IB) Visual Arts Seminar, a required course for students preparing to take the IB exam in
visual arts.
