Kellie Edelblut ’11 of New Hope, Pennsylvania, a member of George School's varsity golf team, won the Girls 15-19 Division Championship of the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) on Sunday, April 11, 2010. The tournament was held at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, Pennsylvania. "Edelblut fired an impressive round of 74 during her first round in windy conditions and lightning fast greens. On Sunday, a solid round of 80 would give the champion a two-day tournament total finish of 154," reports Zach Eberly of the International Junior Golf Tour. In Zach's press release, Kellie said, "I love playing at Penn Oaks because the greens are very fast. My mindset coming into the final round was to just have fun and not think about winning."
