The Swarthmore Athletics News website highlights freshman Aly Passanante '10 and her "electrifying game-tying goal in the 82^nd minute to set up what looked like would be a dramatic overtime conclusion to a hotly-contested battle between the Swarthmore College women's soccer team and No. 23 Eastern. Only Mother Nature had different thoughts."

While at George School, Aly received first-team honors from the Friends Schools League in Fall 2009 and was a second-team honoree in the Bucks County Courier Times "Spring 2010 Golden Teams" for girls' soccer. Aly also appeared in the January/February 2009 issue of ESPN RISE magazine as one of a select group of top female high school soccer players in the Philadelphia area and was named a first-team honoree to the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All-State team.
