
Thirteen George School athletes were honored in the “Spring 2010 Golden Teams” section of the
Bucks County Courier Times for their achievements in track and field, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, softball, and tennis.
Chrissy Haney ’12 and Pricilla Wiggins ’12 both received First Team honors for girls’ track and field this spring season. Chrissy, named for her performances in the 300-meter hurdles, won the Friends Schools League (FSL) Championships this year as well as the 100-meter hurdle event. Pricilla, recognized for the 1,600-meter run, won the FSL championships in 800- and 3,200-meter runs. She holds the school record in the 800-, 1,600-, and 3,200-meter runs. Pricilla was also named to the First Team for Girls’ Soccer.
Second Team honorees included Jessie Mooberry ’10 who won the javelin and shot put events at the FSL Track and Field championships; Wyeth Howard ’10, a boys’ lacrosse attacker and member of the FSL First Team; Stephanie Feinman ’10, a girls’ lacrosse attacker who was named a
Bucks County Courier Times scholar-athlete; Jason Sisti ’11, who won the FSL First Tennis Singles title and was named to the FSL First Team; Elsabeth Graebener ’10, starting pitcher for the girls’ softball team for four years and named to the FSL First Team; and Aly Passanante ’10, co-captain and midfielder for the girl’s soccer team.
Additionally, the following students received Honorable Mentions from the newspaper for their athletic accomplishments this past spring season: Frankin Cuevas ’10 for boys’ lacrosse; Kate Harkins ’11 for girls’ lacrosse; Stephanie Feinman ’10, Jessica Minderjahn ’13, Chrissy Haney ’12, Kate Harkins ’11, and Stephanie Heys ’12, for girls’ soccer; Dylan Gleeson ’11 for baseball; and Jake Fridman ’10 and Devon Pinkus ’11 for boys’ tennis.
