Stone Says Playing is Helping Her Coaching

Issued: Monday, July 12, 2010Author: Karen SangilloPublication: Bucks County Courier Times

Karen Sangillo of the Bucks County Courier Times reports that Jennifer Stone '00 participated in the 2010 USA Field Hockey Women's National Championship, played at the National Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., in June. Stone was a midfielder for the Pennsylvania team.

"I really enjoy playing and it's nice to play at a high level. I continue to learn and playing with and against stronger players opens your eyes," Stone said in Karen's article.

As a student, Jennifer competed on George School’s girls’ field hockey team, becoming the Bucks County Courier Times Player of the Year for field hockey in 1998. She currently serves as the assistant coach for Division I field hockey at Lafayette College, her alma mater.
