The memorial program was organized by Habonim Dror (the Builders of Freedom), a Progressive Labor Zionist Youth movement whose mission is to build a personal bond and commitment between North American Jewish youth and the State of Israel, and Habonim Dror’s major institution, Camp Galil, a Bucks County summer camp that organizes activities throughout the year for families and high school and college students.
During the program, which took place at the National Liberty Museum in Old City, Philadelphia, George School freshman Hanna Vaughn, a Galil camper, offered her own rendition of John Lennon’s “Imagine.”
