Year-End Gifts Benefit GS and Donors

In this season of giving, please consider a gift to George School.

Donations from alumni, parents, and friends help us to support our talented students and dedicated faculty, enhance our beautiful campus, and sustain our commitment to embracing diversity in all its dimensions.

“I was able to go to George School because of the Annual Fund, so I feel it's really important to contribute to it,” said Myra Jacobs ’11, a past Student Annual Fund Committee member. “I want to help give that experience to other kids who can't afford it. Even though I can’t contribute much now, I hope to give more in the future.”

If you make a financial contribution on or before December 31, 2011, you may be able to receive a 2011 tax deduction for your donation. Please keep in mind that for donations made by cash or check, the gift date for tax purposes is the postmark date. For donations made by credit card, we recommend making gifts online by December 27. This time of year also offers other potential benefits to donors. For example, there can be substantial tax advantages to making a gift of appreciated securities.

To make a gift to the Annual Fund online, please visit our secure website at http://www.georgeschool.org/donate.

If you need to reach the Advancement Office, please call 215.579.6580 or email annualfund@georgeschool.org.
