George School Rededicates McFeely Building for History Department

On Friday, May 13, George School’s renovated McFeely building will be officially rededicated as the new home of the school’s History Department. Speaking at the ceremony will be Head of School Nancy Starmer, former George School teacher and administrator John Streetz, History Department Chair Tom English, and two students. Read more.

GS Authors Discuss Coming of Age during a Watershed Era

George School’s Class of 1971 came of age during a watershed era—the Vietnam war, the Black Power movement, second-wave feminism, and more. Six authors from that class will discuss the ways their life experiences have informed their recently published books at an Authors’ Roundtable on Saturday, May 14, as part of Alumni Weekend. Robots Add a New Dimension to Dance Eclectic
|
Humans weren’t the only performers in the twentieth edition of Dance Eclectic, George School’s annual dance production. A group of student-choreographed robots “danced” in three entr’actes or interludes, called Robot Phases I, II, and III. Their performances followed student dances titled Big Bang Phases I, II, and III. Read more.
