“It is hard, especially at this age, to be comfortable with who you are, but at George School, I have learned to be myself and to appreciate who I am and what I am capable of doing.”
What have you learned about yourself at George School?
The most important thing to bring with you to George School is an open mind. There is so much to learn and so many new things to explore.
For example, my friend and I started a club—The Fight for Animals (TFFA)—to raise funds and awareness about endangered animals. We’ve built a butterfly garden on campus, had a bake sale to benefit horses on a Native American reservation in North Dakota, and raised almost $600 for the Center for Great Apes, in Florida, by designing and selling T-shirts.
TFFA has made me realize how much we are all capable of if we dedicate ourselves to something we believe in. And by learning about different people and different things, I've developed as a person.
