Describe a class that surprised you.

My freshman year, my favorite class was my Science 9 class with Chris Odom. Chris is just such an amazing teacher.

We did all kinds of labs and experiments to illustrate the topics in the book. Before I came to George School, I never really enjoyed science, but with Chris, every day was a blast. Sometimes I had so much fun that I didn’t realize I was learning, too.

I look at science differently now. Chris made Science 9 interesting, no matter which topic we covered. I can't wait to have him for physics.

Francesca takes several IB classes and plays field hockey in the fall and runs track in both winter and spring. She finds athletics rewarding and says it is a great way to meet people and make friends.
