“When I dance, I feel like I’m a part of something bigger. The dance program at George School is very different from my experiences elsewhere. I like that. It teaches me different things about dance that I didn’t know before.”




Do you have any advice about making friends at George School?

George School is all about being yourself. Nobody wants you to be someone you’re not.

At George School you can be crazy and weird, and people are fine with it. Just relax, and don’t worry about making friends. You will. Everyone’s friendly. When I started classes I didn’t know where anything was. I asked a girl I didn’t know and she was super nice. I didn’t expect her reaction at all.

Kathrine is “big into dance” and has had a great time preparing for and performing in Dance Eclectic, George School’s annual dance performance. In addition, she has been on the field hockey and basketball teams, and is a rising track star.
