Will English '11

Newtown, Pennsylvania
Day Student

“Take advantage of all George School has to offer. My only regret has been that there is so much to get involved in and so little time.”

Is there a teacher who’s had a big impact on you?

John Gleeson’s American literature class has completely changed my feelings about English. Coming into my junior year, I definitely did not consider English to be one of my favorite classes. But John has really challenged us to dissect novels, and he has pushed me as a writer. Though English is my hardest class, it is now also my favorite and I look forward to it.
