It’s simple. If you don’t feel well, you don’t do well. So at George School, we want you to be and stay healthy. Our graduation requirements incorporate continual physical activity. There are acres of trails to walk or run and our food makes it easy to eat right.
Still, even Superman runs into a bit of kryptonite now and then, so you might need George School’s Student Health & Wellness Center. A registered nurse is always there and you can make an appointment for the doctor, nurse practitioner, or psychologist. Whether you need physical, emotional, or nutritional support, routine care is free. And although we have 16 sick beds, if you need to go elsewhere, the Student Health & Wellness Center staff can refer you to a specialist.
Student Health & Wellness Center Hours
The Student Health & Wellness Center is staffed with a part-time physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurses, and a school counselor during the school year.
We are open 24 hours/day Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday we are open until 11:00 p.m. and then on-call.
Dr. Bierman is available by appointment Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
