English Faculty Co-Authors Article for Education Journal

George School faculty member Shantel Hubert is co-author of “Navigating the Challenges of Becoming a Culturally Responsive Teacher: Supportive Networking May Be the Key,” a recent article appearing in the Australian Journal of Teacher Education.

The article focuses on a great concern for American teachers, the growing number of underperforming English Language Learners (ELL) in schools throughout the United States.

Shantel holds a bachelor’s degree from Temple University and a Master of Education degree from Saint Joseph’s University. She has been teaching English courses at George School since 2012.
