Film Students Win Big at Greenfield Film Festival

George School film students are continuing their success with several returning from the Greenfield Film Festival with major awards and nominations. Elenore Wang ’18 took home the prize for Best Production Design for her film Miroir, made with Grace Clark ’18. Sam Mironko ’17 won Honorable Mention for having submitted two nominated films, his documentary Montsho and his music video Lowkey.

Other students getting nominations for various aspects of filmmaking include Alexander Feldman ’18 and Sundar Pratt ’17 for Wired; Nodar Sotkilava ’17 and Quan Do ’18 for The Silent Vase; Zach Sharma ’18 for Bucks Food for Friends; and David Fort ’17, Violet Myles ’17, and Savio Zigbi-Johnson ’17 for Loving Across Political Borders.

Earlier in term 3 it was announced that Ava Navarro ’18 and Sam won top prizes during the Bridge Film Festival for their collaboration Being Other.
