Community Chorus Concert on Sunday

The concert will feature student and faculty soloists as well as group numbers including Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi and selected Opera Choruses by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

On Sunday, February 12 the George School Community Chorus and Chorale will host their annual concert from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the George School Meetinghouse. The event is free and open to the public.

The chorus is comprised of students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and people from the surrounding area including neighboring Pennswood Village. “I have been conducting the chorus for twenty-three years and this will be my last, as I am retiring at the end of the year,” said Choral Director Jackie Coren. “It has been a wonderful experience working with so many wonderful people throughout that time. We’ve explored some amazing music together over the years and I am grateful for their beautiful voices and generous spirits.”

The concert will feature student and faculty soloists as well as group numbers including Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi and selected Opera Choruses by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
