Twelfth Annual Art for Relief

The twelfth annual Art for Relief, a student-organized night of art to raise money for charity, will be held at George School the weekend of March 31 to April 2. This year’s selected charity is SOLA: School of Leadership Afghanistan—a program for education of girls and young women in Afghanistan.

Community Welcome at Thinking Across Disciplines (TAD) Event

Please join us on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at our annual Thinking Across Disciplines (TAD) event that gives sophomores an opportunity to reflect on their learning and to share their perspectives with the community.

IB Senior Art Show on Display

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Art Show is on display in the Walton Center Gallery, the Class of 1956 Gallery in the Anderson Library, and Main Lobby. A gallery talk and reception will take place on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 3:10 p.m. in the Class of 1956 Gallery in the Anderson Library.

Philadelphia Head of School Reception

George School invites alumni, parents, and friends to a Head of School Reception on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pyramid Club, 1735 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Celebrating Grandparents and Special Friends

On Sunday, April 9, 2017, students will welcome grandparents and special friends to campus for Grandparents and Special Friends Day. The activities will begin at 10:45 a.m. at meeting for worship in the meetinghouse followed by a complimentary luncheon in Main Dining Room.

Washington, DC Head of School Reception

George School invites alumni, parents, and friends to a Head of School Reception on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the City Club of Washington, 555 13th St, NW, Columbia Square, Washington, DC 20004.

Registration is Open for Alumni Weekend

Make plans to join us for Alumni Weekend May 5-7, 2017—All community members are welcome. Activities include the All-Alumni Gathering, where we will welcome new Head of School Sam Houser and recognize our retiring faculty members. Saturday will also feature reunion photos, master classes, and memorial meeting for worship.
