Maisy Cadwallader ’20

Elmira, New YorkGuilford College
Maisy has gone from “younger sister” to “older sister” in four years of dorm life.

What was your most interesting class?

My favorite class was my cognitive neurology class junior year. It was one of the term science courses and was extremely engaging. I gained insight into the functions of the brain and human behavior.

Describe an exciting moment at George School.

Live Music Weekend is always exciting. The student performances are so enjoyable. It’s a blast from start to finish.

What is it like to live in a dorm?

Living in a dorm has been one of the best parts of being a student here at George School. Each dorm has felt like my home away from home. Being surrounded by thirty other students all experiencing the same thing has made it easy to talk to someone when I was going through something, and every year, the prefects have been like my older sisters at school.

More about Maisy:

Maisy enjoys both art and athletics. She has been on the varsity swim team and taken studio art all four years and has added graphic design this year. A dorm prefect, peer group leader, Bike Club leader, and member of Student Council, Argo, and the Social Justice club, she went on the school’s service trip to Vietnam.
