Tali Schnitzer ’18

Washington University in St. Louis
From biology to geography to tennis, Tali learned something different in every sport and subject.

What did you find particularly interesting about classes?

What I enjoyed most about AP Human Geography were the discussions and projects. The lessons were engaging, and our teacher, Lyman, worked closely with each student throughout the year. In addition, the class dynamic was amazing. My classmates and I constantly supported one another.

In IB SL Biology with Polly Lodge, one of the parts I enjoyed most was the IB Group 4 weekend, during which my group of three classmates and I had the opportunity to create our own experiment using the material we learned in class. It was a great chance for all of us to use our skills and work as a team in order to successfully run our experiment.

What did you learn from participating in athletics at George School?

Although tennis is considered an individual sport, I learned that teamwork and supporting one another are key to having a successful and fun season.
