On Saturday, February 4, students were invited to enjoy a day in New York City as part of the extended Mid-Winter Break sponsored by the Deans’ Office. Some chose to see Broadway plays, while others visited the National September 11th Memorial and Museum, went ice-skating, or dined at one of the many unique restaurants in the Big Apple.

In the past, boarding students were required to leave campus for the extended weekend, but a change was made this year to better accommodate international students who had a difficult time traveling off campus for such a limited amount of time.

The weekend’s other activities included shopping trips, a Super Bowl Party, and a trip to the local movie theater. Learn more about campus life at George School here.
