Students Receive Awards at MUN Conference

The George School Model United Nations team took part in the annual Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC) in Philadelphia, January 26 through January 28. Several George School students captured prizes during this year’s competition.

Will Street ’18 and Beau Simon ’18 won Best Delegate, Aaron Zhao ’19 and Ahmed Ahmed ’19 received honorable mention awards, and Lexi Osbourne ’20 and Greg Levy ’18 each received verbal commendations.

ILMUNC was founded at the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. Their mission is to organize and run model United Nations conferences serving high school students and to promote international affairs and model United Nations among students at the University of Pennsylvania by providing opportunities to be involved in international affairs related to activities on-campus, regionally, and abroad.
