George School’s Boys and Girls Track & Field teams delivered another outstanding spring season, with the Boys team capturing its third consecutive Friends Schools League (FSL) Championship and the Girls team earning an impressive second-place finish.

“I’m incredibly proud of the way both teams competed all season long,” said Head Coach Mike Bailey. “Our athletes showed tremendous commitment, not only to their own events but to supporting one another and contributing wherever the team needed them.”

Record Performances and Program Depth

This season saw exceptional performances across the board. The Girls team produced 1 new school record and 17 All-Time Top Ten marks, while the Boys team tallied 6 school records and 28 Top Ten performances.

Among the highlights:

  • Zee Lowe '27 set a new Girls Triple Jump record (37’ 2”), surpassing the previous mark by nearly three feet.

  • Ben Ferrenz '26 broke the Decathlon record, while several Boys relay teams — including the 4x100, 4x800, Sprint Medley, and Shuttle Hurdles — reset school standards.

“What stands out most is the depth we had this season,” Bailey added. “We saw athletes step up in multiple events, and our relays really embodied the team-first mindset we emphasize.”
