George School COVID-19 Information
Updated November 22, 2021
George School prioritizes the health and safety of its community. The following are current practices and protocols, subject to change, for limiting the spread of COVID-19. We thank our campus community and visitors for their role in maintaining these standards.
Vaccination against COVID-19 is required of students, faculty, and staff, with requests for exemptions for medical and religious reasons reviewed on a case-by-case basis. George School is a highly vaccinated community. Vaccination is the best available tool to protect the community from the spread of serious illness from COVID-19, and to support in-person learning and community.
George School currently requires face coverings to be worn indoors by students, faculty, and staff. This group is not required to wear face coverings outdoors, when eating, during strenuous indoor athletic activity, or as residents in their dorms.
Visitors to campus are allowed at this time. It is our expectation that all campus visitors be fully immunized against COVID-19, but visitors are required to be masked in indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status.
