Christopher Harris has been named the Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. He comes to George School from Fordham University, where he was the assistant recruiting coordinator for the Men’s Basketball Program. Chris brings a wealth of experience coaching and mentoring student-athletes and looks forward to building on the program's legacy.
Supported by the Performing Arts Department, George School student-thespians proudly present CLUE On Stage Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Walton Center Auditorium. Performances are free and open to the public.
English teacher and published author Courtney Bejgrowicz takes her experience with traditional publishing to encourage George School students to envision themselves as authors.
Kicking off the end-of-year celebration of the Class of 2025 was the third-annual Senior Pinning Ceremony, marking their transition from George School students to George School alumni. Advisors and the Board of Trustees shared dinner with the seniors to honor their achievements and experiences. Students received a pin marked with the GS seal from their advisor, serving as a reminder to always “mind the light.”
“I feel like everything I write has to do with growing up and keeping the magic,” shares Brandi Chesner ’25.
It was in Courtney Bejgrowicz’s course, “Creative Writing: Focus on the Novel,” that Brandi was able to embrace her love of the written word and storytelling to start her own novel— so much, that she took it twice; in addition to Courtney’s other writing course “Exploration of Memoir.”
A veteran boarding school educator, Chris Odom still exhibits the unbridled enthusiasm of a new teacher. Inspired by the excitement his students bring to class discussions and discoveries, Chris appreciates the variety of courses he can offer within the GS Academic Program.

Celine Ge ’26 and Sarah Zhu ’26 were accepted into the 24th annual Drexel University High School Photography Contest. Only 188 students were accepted into the show out of 980 students, with work submitted from students in 46 states. Celine was one of only six winners, receiving an honorable mention for her piece, “Caged Sheep.”

Several George School students have been nominated to the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 by Executive Order of the President to recognize some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating seniors for their accomplishments.
