*In addition to tuition, all families can expect to incur additional costs. These costs are variable and will depend on individual student and family needs. Examples of additional expenses may include, but are not limited to field trips, laptop, travel costs to and from campus, athletic equipment and clothing, spending money, IB and AP exams, tutoring, music lessons, and laundry.

Our committment enrolling a socioeconomically diverse student body, demonstrated by our substantial financial commitment to financial aid, creates an environment in which students with widely varying life experiences can learn together (and from one another).

Simplicity

We strive the make the application process clear and straightforward for all families. We partner with Clarity to process financial aid applications. The Clarity Application is a streamlined and user-friendly way for families to apply for financial aid.

The financial aid team is committed to helping families navigate this process. Each family has a unique financial picture, and we are here as a resource for you if you have any specific questions about your family's circumstances.

Applying for Financial Aid

George School partners with Clarity to process financial aid applications. The Clarity Application is a streamlined and user-friendly way for families to apply for financial aid. Most families are able to complete the Clarity Application in less than 30 minutes. The financial aid application deadline is January 15. Families who apply by the deadline will receive their financial aid decision, along with their admission decision, on March 10.
 

 

Merit Scholarships

At George School, our funds let us reward incoming students for demonstrating intelligence, optimism, curiosity, and leadership. All students who meet the admission application deadline are considered for merit awards. No application is required. Recipients are selected by the Admission Committee.
