Angelo Leon ’21 Wins Mini Maxwell Award

George School Senior Angelo Leon ’21 has been selected to receive the Mini Maxwell Award. Each year, the Mini Maxwell Awards are presented to high school football players based on academics, on-field performance, and commitment to community service.

Second-year Head Coach Dom Gregorio, who nominated Angelo for the honor, had this say about his standout running back and linebacker, “Angelo was a 2-year captain and a tremendous leader on our team. He came to practice every single day with a mission to make himself and his teammates better, which he accomplished on a daily basis. Not only is Angelo a leader on the football field, he is also a leader in his community. Angelo volunteers at his local church food bank.”

As a player, Angelo was a 3-year starter and a four-year varsity letter winner for the Cougars.

George School congratulates Angelo for this much-deserved honor!
