Another Shut Out for Varsity Field Hockey

On Wednesday, September 13, 2017 the varsity field hockey team beat Morrisville High School 8-0 on Cougar Field. “Everyone had a chance to play in this fast and exhausting game,” says Nancy Bernardini, head coach. “I was very pleased with how the team improved the movement and our possession of the ball as the clock ticked on.”

Goals were scored by Eva Kinnel ’20, Kate Klaver ’18 (2), Izzy Robinson-Cloete ’20 (2), Annie Borovskiy ’18, Julia Wilson ’18, and Betsy Gentner ’18. Kate, along with Julia and Emily Matson ’20 each had one assist. Lea Jensen ’19 had two assists. The defense only allowed three shots from Morrisville the entire game.

Next game is Friday, September 15, 2017 at Princeton Day School at 4:00 p.m.
