What to Bring

In addition to the items listed on the Preseason Athletic Camp packing list, please bring:

  • Shin guards
  • Sneakers and cleats
  • Hockey stick
Tentative Daily Schedule

Always be prepared to practice both indoors and outdoors. Athletes are expected to eat all meals in the dining hall. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and dinner is served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Monday, August 19 – FIRST DAY OF CAMP

Morning:

8:30-10:00AM – Registration in the Coffeehouse in Marshall Center

10:35-11:05 – Impact Testing for hockey players in Science Building

11:15 – Team meeting on Track

12:00-12:15 – 12-minute run – Track

12:15-1:00 – lunch

Afternoon:

1:00-1:30 – Rest/Relax

1:30-2:00 – Workouts with Ian – FAC

2:00-3:45 – Practice – Turf

4:00-4:30 – Swimming session with Bob

5:30-6:00 – Dinner

Night:

6:15-6:45 – ALL Teams Meeting in FAC – WELCOME!

6:45-7:00 – Team stretch – Turf

7:00-7:45 – 7 v 7 Scrimmage – Turf

First week of camp over after swimming!

No night session! All preseason boarders need to complete a weekend overnight card in order to go home for the weekend!

10:00AM – Scrimmage vs Morrisville HS – Away – Grass Field

12:00 – Return Home

Mon., Sept. 3 3:40-4:40 New Students Try Outs – Turf

4:40-6:00 Official Try Outs Begin for All Returning Students – turf

Important Information:

1. Please be READY TO GO at the times designated!

2. Bring cleats, indoor shoes, turf shoes (if you have them) and running shoes to ALL practices (we will be moving to different sites throughout the day and during practices)

3. Required at ALL practices: Indoor shoes, running shoes, cleats, mouth guard(s), shin guards, stick, water bottle, towel (to soak up your sweat), sun block, bathing suit and towel

4. Please talk to me in advance if you cannot attend a practice due to a doctor’s appointment or another conflict.

5. All players are expected to stay on campus until the end of the last practice session unless they have spoken to me in advanced about having to leave early.

6. If leaving campus (except at end of practice day for day students, you must let me know and also sign out through reach in the Deans’ Office and get car permission!)

7. Day students who are boarding may not use their car during camp!
