Boys Indoor Track & Field at George School
The George School Indoor Track & Field team is built on a foundation of resilience, teamwork and personal growth. Throughout the winter season, athletes train together in all conditions — embracing both outdoor and indoor workouts.
The program is guided by the team’s core belief: "It doesn’t matter where you start — it’s where you finish and the effort you give to become the best version of yourself.”

ACCOLADES
- The George School Indoor Track & Field program has a proud tradition of excellence, highlighted by three PAISAA Girls State Championships and one PAISAA Boys State Championship.
- Boys Indoor Track & Field team captured the 2024 Friends Schools League (FSL) Championship, continuing the program’s legacy of strong performances at the league and state levels.
Meet the Coaches
Head Coach Mike Bailey
Mike Bailey has led George School’s track and field program for over five years, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for athlete development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science and previously served as Head Women’s Track & Field Coach at the University of Southern California, where he coached or assisted 18 Olympians and 67 NCAA Division I All-Americans. A former National AAU/TAC Decathlon Champion, Mike combines elite-level expertise with a commitment to helping student-athletes grow. Since joining George School, he has guided the program to three PAISAA Girls Indoor Track & Field State Championships, one PAISAA Boys Indoor title, and a FSL Championship for the Boys team in 2024. His coaching philosophy emphasizes progress over perfection, encouraging athletes to pursue personal records and embrace continuous improvement.
