Boys Swimming at George School

George School Boys Swimming brings energy and excitement to every practice and meet as a proud member of the Friends Schools League (FSL).

Led by Head Coach Brandon Hullings, the program emphasizes strong technique, smart training habits, and a positive, motivating team culture.

The team trains and competes in home meets at our modern swimming pool, which also hosts the FSL Championship each year.

ACCOLADES

  • Friends Schools League Champions: George School Boys’ Swimming captured three consecutive FSL titles in 2023, 2024, and 2025, dominating the league with commanding victories.
     
  • Record-Breaking Success: Under Coach Brandon Hullings, the team has shattered 16 school records, 5 Marshall-Platt pool records, and 6 Friends Schools League conference records.
     
  • Individual Honors: In 2025, eight swimmers, Kentaro Bauer ('25), Anton Beregovoi ('27), Joey DeFinis ('25), John Eler ('28), Daniel Gluschuk ('25), Mikko Kuittinen ('26), Luke Linden ('25), and Luke McCool ('28), were named to the All-FSL First Team.

Meet the Coaches

Head Coach Brandon Hullings

Brandon Hullings, George School’s Director of Aquatics and Head Coach for both varsity swim teams, brings over 20 years of experience to the program. A former Scholastic All-American and NCAA Division III National Champion at Denison University, he began his coaching career at The Pennington School, where he built a powerhouse program and guided numerous record holders and All-Americans. Since joining George School in 2021, Brandon has led the Cougars to multiple Friends Schools League titles and shattered school, pool and league records. Brandon continues to foster a culture of excellence, discipline and sportsmanship in and out of the pool.
