Fencing

Fencing at George School

George School Fencing is an all-gender program offering foil, épée, and sabre at both varsity and JV levels for athletes of all experience levels. The team competes against other private schools in a schedule of challenging meets.

Practices in the Fitness and Athletics Center (FAC) emphasize expert instruction, strategy, and sportsmanship — helping students build agility, focus and resilience.

As both an individual and team sport, fencing fosters confidence, discipline and camaraderie — preparing athletes for college opportunities and lifelong engagement in this tradition-rich discipline.

We have a terrific mix of experienced and novice fencers, and the team is growing in leaps and bounds. We’re going to make our mark quickly in our prep fencing neighborhood.” Eric Wolarsky,
Head Coach, Varsity Fencing
