Girls Swimming at George School

George School Girls Swimming is a proud competitor in the Friends Schools League (FSL), bringing energy, growth and teamwork to every practice and meet.

Led by Head Coach Brandon Hullings, the program helps swimmers of all levels sharpen technique, build confidence, and pursue their goals in a positive, motivating environment.

The team trains and competes in home meets at our modern swimming pool, which also hosts the FSL Championship each year.

ACCOLADES

  • Historic Championships: After earning co-champion honors in 2002, George School Girls’ Swimming captured its first outright Friends Schools League title in 2024 and repeated in 2025, defeating long-time powerhouse Friends’ Central.
     
  • Program Legacy: These back-to-back titles marked the program’s first outright championships in over two decades, showcasing the team’s depth, dedication, and competitive spirit.
     
  • 2025 All-FSL Swimmers: Gabriella Karasinski (’27), Quinn Jerardi (’27), Freya Mottershead (’25), Kavya Gounder (’26), and Ana Brown (’28).

Meet the Coaches

Head Coach Brandon Hullings

Brandon Hullings serves as George School’s Director of Aquatics and Head Coach for the Girls’ and Boys’ Varsity Swimming teams, bringing over 20 years of experience to the program. A former Scholastic All-American at The Pennington School and NCAA Division III National Champion at Denison University, Brandon began his coaching career at his alma mater, where he built a thriving aquatics program and led the New Jersey Stingrays Swim Team to national prominence. His leadership produced Junior National qualifiers, multiple varsity record holders, and All-American performers. Since joining George School in 2021, Brandon has guided the Cougars to three consecutive Friends Schools League titles for the boys’ team and two for the girls’ team.
