Girls Tennis

Girls Tennis at George School

Girls Tennis at George School focuses on growth, teamwork, and a love for the game. Competing in the Friends Schools League, student-athletes are challenged to develop their skills, build confidence, and strive for continuous improvement. Through practices and matches, players learn the value of discipline, perseverance, sportsmanship, and resilience while supporting one another as teammates. Tennis encourages strategic thinking, effective communication, and strong leadership skills, both on and off the court. Whether experienced competitors or new to the sport, team members are part of a positive and inclusive environment that promotes healthy competition, lasting friendships, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and personal growth.

Our players always stay active and positive; our attitude and effort never changes.” Cecilia Grissa,
Head Coach, Girls Varsity Tennis
