Soccer - Varsity Boys
Established in 1911, the Boys Varsity Soccer Team at George School has a rich history of athletic excellence and a tradition of nurturing young talent. As one of the school's most accomplished programs, it has secured numerous league championships over the years. Beyond the accolades, the team has played a pivotal role in developing young men from diverse backgrounds into individuals of strong character, instilling in them the virtues of hard work and perseverance.

Accomplishments
Glenn Curry's journey in soccer began at a young age and has been marked by numerous achievements. Starting with youth clubs where he won multiple championships and earned spots on All-Star teams, Glenn continued his success into high school where he was named to the All-State Team in Pennsylvania. As a proud member of Temple University's 1985 Owls team, Glenn contributed to their legacy as one of the school's top soccer teams. In 2005, Glenn was inducted into the Bristol Township School District Hall of Fame.
Coaching Achievements
During his tenure as Head Coach at George School, Glenn has led the Boys Soccer team to notable successes. Under his guidance, the team has qualified for the Friends Schools League (FSL) playoffs twice and secured Quaker Cup Championships in the other two seasons. In 2021, his Cougars finished with an impressive 7-1 record in league play and ranked 7th among independent schools in Pennsylvania.
Coaching Style and Philosophy
Glenn's coaching style is defined by high-intensity pressing, dynamic attacking play, and a commitment to Quaker principles of integrity and collective effort. He emphasizes not only achieving success on the field but also fostering camaraderie, respect, and the development of each player's potential. Through his coaching, Glenn aims to instill a sense of teamwork and determination that extends beyond the game, preparing his players for challenges both on and off the field.
