Accomplishments
Michael Sherman brings a wealth of experience to the cross country program, including a USATF Level 1 certification and a background as a collegiate track and field athlete at Bloomsburg University, where he competed in the 400m, 800m, and 4x400m relay from 1984 to 1985. During his tenure at George School, he has led his team to notable achievements, including coaching the 2023 Friends Schools League (FSL) Girls Individual Champion.

Michael's coaching philosophy is centered on fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment for both boys and girls. He challenges his athletes to set and achieve ambitious running goals, aiming for competitive success in the Friends Schools League. His approach emphasizes the development of a strong mental mindset, integrating rigorous outdoor runs with targeted gym workouts.
