Rowing is one of the most challenging—and most rewarding—athletic pursuits. Cougar Rowing centers on creating a supportive and cohesive team environment that feels like family, fostering a life-long passion for the sport. Training and competition are grounded in a commitment to one another; teammates work not only for themselves but for their crew.

Founded by Head Coach Patrick O'Dunne and Assistant Coach Shari Rossman in 2023, the team's first season was a resounding success in both growth and performance. Haley Uliasz, a former rower at Syracuse University, joined the coaching staff in 2024, bringing her expertise as a former NCAA competitor. Her experience in building successful teams and passion for mentoring athletes have been instrumental in setting a strong foundation for the team’s future.
