George School Girls Varsity Soccer played Hun on Tuesday, September 11 at The Hun School of Princeton.

The varsity girls soccer team won their first home game of the season on Friday afternoon versus Calvary Christian 4-0. Though it took a while to break through on the scoreboard, George School had the majority of the possession throughout the match. Ella Davidyock ’21 tallied the first goal of the day to lead the Cougars into half-time with a 1-0 lead. GS again took control of the ball after the half-time break and never looked back as three other scorers tallied points on the stat sheet in Nora Greer ’19, Caroline Eagen ’21, and Alexandra Long ’20. This win was a total team effort as each player made an impact on the field and helped GS earn their first win! We look to continue our success at home on Wednesday against Agnes Irwin at 4:00 p.m.

Nora Greer, who stopped three shots on goal in the first half, joined Caroline Eagen and Alex Long in the scoring column in the second half. Nikole Alexopoulous turned aside a pair of shots in the second half to combine with Greer on the shutout."
