Painting and Drawing Teacher Jō Adachi’s Life In Progress: Chapter 40: A Sabbatical will be on display in the Walton Lobby Gallery now through November 14, 2019. A gallery talk and reception will take place on Thursday, October 24 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Walton Lobby Gallery.
Sculpture students in Amedeo Salamoni’s class gained hands on experience setting up an art installation at the Lower Bucks campus of Bucks County Community College in Bristol on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Students had the opportunity to design the configuration of Amedeo’s Field Grass sculptures.
On Saturday, September 21, 2019, student athletes from around the region will hit the ground running for the 67th Annual George School Cross Country Invitational. There will be more than 600 athletes running on George School’s wooded cross-country course for the competition.
Jean Morrison ’76 was invited by the US House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology to testify about sexual harassment in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) this summer.
In the last three years, Pennsylvania businesses committed to education have gifted nearly $400,000 to George School through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs. These tax credit programs provide Pennsylvania students access to a transformative educational experience by directly supporting the school’s financial aid program.
